Coach Colvin recently completed his fourth season as the Head Volleyball Coach for the Panthers and his thirteenth season on the coaching staff at Palm Beach State College.
During the 2016 season, Drew coached the Panthers to a conference championship and a regional tournament berth. The following year, the Panthers were conference runner-up and once again earned a regional tournament berth. With Drew at the helm, 12 Panthers have advanced to play at either NCAA or NAIA universities. During the 2018-19 season, the Panthers finished 11-15 under Coach Colvin's tutelage.
Drew graduated from Palm Beach Atlantic University with a degree in Christian Social Ministry and a minor in Exercise Science. While at PBAU, Drew started his indoor volleyball career - first with the men’s club team followed by men’s varsity team.
The one year PBAU fielded a men’s varsity program, Drew was the captain of the team and was named a NCCAA Division 1 First Team All-American. Following Drew’s indoor playing career, he joined the coaching staff with PBAU’s women’s team as an assistant and later the associate of the Sailfish. Drew has also coached with Palm Beach Juniors Volleyball Club and Sideout Volleyball Club. He has earned a CAP I coaching certification through USAV. As well as his indoor experience, Drew has also been a consistent open-level beach player since 2000.
