Women's Golf Finishes 10th, Beats 6 4-Year Schools

Battling cold weather in DeBary, FL, the women's golf team had one of its most impressive tournaments this season.  In a field of 16 teams, the Lady Panthers and Seminole State College (FL) were the only 2 NJCAA schools.  The other 14 schools were all 4-year schools.  After the first 2 rounds, the Lady Panthers sat in 8th place.  In a 3rd round that was delayed 15 minutes to start due to frost, the Lady Panthers felt some of that effect to start.  But a 10th place finish only had the Lady Panthers 13 shots behind NJCAA powerhouse Seminole State.  In securing the 10th place finish, the Lady Panthers finished above 6 4-year schools.
