Women's Golf Tees Off 25-26 Season
The womens Fall 2025 Season has begun and both events were a test of patience due to weather conditions. The all freshman team has done very well, while adjusting to collegiate golf.
The womens golf team has competed in the Seminole State Fall Warm Up and the Keiser University SeaHawk Invitational. At the Seminole State Fall Warm Up, at Rio Pnar Golf Club, the course was saturated and players were allowed to Lift Clean and Place for the two rounds. The team finished in 6th place, with Angelina Guertin finishing tied for 5th. Jessica Danckwerth had the teams low round for the tournament with a 2-under 70 in the second round.
The following week was a home game at PGA National on the Championship Course. Monday the team played 36 holes, and were tied for 10th place. Tuesday was an 18 hole round, which should have been completed by mid afternoon, but with weather delays the round was completed at 6PM. The Panthers finished the tournament with an 11th place finish. Angelina Guertin had another top 10 individual finish, this time finished tied for 8th.
Monday September 22 and Tuesday September 23 the team travels to Lecanto, Florida for the New College Golf Tournament hosted at the Black Diamond Ranch. This event will be a 36 hole round on Tuesday. Check back for the results.
The team has a busy fall with additional events in October to Kentucky, Alabama, and Georgia.
